Security
Built so the right people see the right things.
JobDocs handles sensitive documents on behalf of two sides of a working relationship. Access, privacy and record-keeping are designed in from the database up.
Organisation-scoped access
Every user only sees the organisations and relationships they are authorised to access. Access is enforced at the database with row-level security, not just in the interface.
Private by default
Drafts, internal notes and cost information belong to the organisation that owns them and are never exposed to the other side of a relationship.
Controlled external links
Upload, onboarding and acceptance links are scoped to a single purpose, expire and can be revoked — so contractors can respond without an account, safely.
Immutable published versions
When a quote or RAMS is shared, JobDocs stores a fixed version. The shared record cannot be changed after the fact, while private drafts can keep evolving.
Audit history
Important submissions, review decisions and support access are recorded, so there is a clear history of who did what and when.
Managed infrastructure
JobDocs runs on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Card payments are handled by Stripe; card details are never stored by JobDocs.
What JobDocs does and does not claim
JobDocs provides the workflow, records and status around contractor documents. Statuses reflect what each organisation has received and the decisions it has made. JobDocs does not certify competence, insurance validity or legal compliance — those decisions remain with the organisations and contractors involved.
